You are invited to Grape Expectations School of Winemaking’s inaugural Winemakers Showcase & People’s Choice Awards. This will be big so get your tickets today!
You love wine so join us! Guests will sample dozens of handcrafted red wines. Each wine was made by local amateur winemakers at our Private Client Winery & Wine School. You will meet the winemakers. Learn more about winemaking so you know how to join us as a winemaker next year. Best of all? You will help pick the best wines of the bunch!
We love the whole family but this is a 21+ Event. Admission includes wine sampling of all the presenting winemaker’s red wines so there is a lot for your ticket price! We also will provide light apps to cleanse palates between samples. Experts with nformation & access to winemaking sign-ups will be on-site.
Winemakers Who Wish to Join the Showcase
There is no fee for participating or submitting your wine for judging. Please email umakeadawine@grapexlv.com with your intent to showcase & the wine(s) you plan on submitting for the competition. We will be printing your wine varietal, vintage year & a number assignment on the scorecards the public will be using to vote.
What we provide: A table & table covering, 2 chairs, sampling cups to pour wine into for the guests to taste, a dump bucket/trash can, & your table number/wine numbers for voting.
What you provide: 2-4 bottles of each wine you would like to showcase. The manpower to pour wine samples to the public coming to taste. Be a good ambassador of winemaking to the community.

1) Give our winemakers a fun way to share their great wines & get kudos/bragging rights from the public for making a great blend
2) Be a fun way for new potential winemakers to learn more, get excited & pick a wine varietal they would like to make
3) Potentially help our winemakers find new barrel mates to join their winemaking teams or mentor new barrel leaders as they begin their winemaking journey.
We will be giving awards for Best In Show (Gold), Silver, Bronze people’s choice. People’s Choice for best wine label & a runner up. Best decorated table. (Optional to decorate your table) Ambassador Award. (People’s choice for favorite winemaker they meet.
